Alps Mountaineering brand packs are built with comfort and ease in mind. Choose between the Red Tail 65L or the Baja 60L depending how much space you need.
Sleeping
A tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, and backpacker pillow make for comfortable sleeping in the backcountry. We have backpacking tents from the ALPS Mountaineering Lynx series that can fit one, two or three people.
Kitchen
Jetboil Zip System (for boiling water ONLY), lighter, bowl, multi-use cup, spork, swiss army knife and a mini cutting board. This kitchen includes one 3.5 ounce canister of fuel, additional canisters can be purchased for $7 each. Bring your own dehydrated meals, instant coffee, tea etc.

Backpacker Sleep Kits:
Lynx 1 - $45 per night
Lynx 2 - $55 per night
Lynx 3 - $80 per night
Backpacker Kitchen - $20 for the first night. Each night thereafter is $15 for 1-3 people.
A Backpacker Kitchen for more than one person will include just one Jetboil Zip system, fuel canister, lighter, knife and mini cutting board. Click here for information about how long fuel canisters last.

***Permits are required for all Zion National Park overnight backpacking trips (some other locations may require permits as well). Certain ZNP permit reservations can be obtained online by following the instructions on their website: https://www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/online-wilderness-permits.htm. If the location you want a permit reservation for is not listed in the menu (for example: Right Fork) then you must obtain your permit in person.
